The Espace San Bernardo is a franco-italian ski area located in the department of Savoie and the Aosta Valley province. It links the ski areas of the resorts of La Rosière 1850 in France and La Thuile in Italy by means of the Chardonnet chairlift and the Bellecombe draglift on the French side and the Belvedere chairlift on the Italian side.
It is a novel type of ski area, the diversity of which enables you to enjoy all types of winter sport. Landscapes that vary between villages and valleys, groomed pistes in the forest, gulleys and untouched off-piste areas...
On the French side, the Espace San Bernardo offers a panoramic view over the whole of the Tarentaise Valley and because it is south-facing it enjoys exceptional levels of sunshine. On the Italian side is La Thuile an area where snow is guaranteed thanks to more north-facing slopes and the cold dry powder snow sought after by avid, thrill-seeking skiers.
