One week of concerts with a view on the Mont-Blanc
The 11th edition of the Cosmo Jazz Festival Chamonix will be held from 24 to 31 July. This event, which has been cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, was first held in 2010. The festival was created and orchestrated by André Manoukian, and each year welcomes international artists to the resort to share a human adventure with the public through the discovery of exceptional landscapes and cosmic sounds. All of this in a very friendly atmosphere! This year, jazz lovers have the opportunity to attend a dozen concerts. Kyle Eastwood Quintet, Brad Mehldau, Piers Faccini, Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp, David Walters, Emilie Parisien & Vincent Peirani, Laurent Bardainne & Tigre d'Eau Douce, Birds on wire, San Salvador, Léon Phal Quintet, Tournée des refuges, Sélène Saint-Aimé, André Manoukian... are among the many artists taking part in this musical event in the Alps.
When jazz is around... in the Chamonix Valley
The 2021 edition, still perched in the mountains, promises surprising musical moments as it takes place... at altitude! The event organisers have carefully chosen natural sites for their exceptional scenery and breath-taking panoramas. To listen to the music in the open air, the participants take the ski lifts. Once they are there, the show takes place both on stage and all around them.
