“La Canopée des Cîmes”

At the top of La Met, the highest point of the Val Cenis ski area at 2800 metres, ‘La Canopée des Cîmes’ is a panoramic viewing platform suspended above the void. Accessible from the top of the chairlift it can hold fifteen to twenty people at the same time and gives impressive views of Mont-Cenis, its lake, the Vanoise glacier and much of the Italian and French Alps.

Walking and snow-shoeing trails

Walkers can also enjoy the grandiose panoramas of the Val Cenis lake. Take the Ramasse chairlift and then allow around 45 minutes to walk around, where you can stop and read the explanatory panels recounting the fascinating history of the lake.
