The annual sled dog event in Europe

The 18th edition of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc takes place from January 8th to 19th 2022. More than 60 mushers and 600 dog-athletes gathered in Samoëns for the opening event. Samoëns is the starting station for the first stage of the "time trial", where sled drivers from the major European mushing nations (France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands) compete in one of the most demanding events. During 12 consecutive days, in the heart of a majestic setting, they will have to cross the Alpine massifs, take various routes (Nordic, alpine, forestry...) and cover a total of more than 300 km (10,000 m of positive altitude difference). Portions of the trails have been specifically marked out outside the ski areas for the race. The mushers will travel through 20 towns, villages and resorts, including Samoëns, Les Gets, Valmorel and Val Cenis, which are popular destinations for MGM. Indeed, the Haute-Savoie-based developer carefully selects the location of its developments in order to guarantee buyers and their guests privileged living spaces and/or exceptional stays.

MGM residences in Samoëns, Valmorel, Val Cenis and Les Gets

Residence Alexane and Chalets Bérénice in Samoëns

Nestled in the beautiful Giffre Valley, Samoëns is historically the home of the stone masons. At the very heart of this typical village you will find Alexane, a concept which combines a hotel and a tourist residence. This new development, Chalets Bérénice, will take root in Samoëns from Christmas 2022, close to local amenities and the Grand Massif ski slopes. Its 50 top-of-the-range flats will have an uninterrupted view of the surrounding massifs and a full southern exposure for maximum sunshine.

Residence Anitéa and Akoya in Valmorel

MGM is renewing its attachment to Valmorel, a village resort in the heart of the Tarentaise valley. After having built the Anitéa residence, ski-in/ski-out and close to the shops, MGM Constructeur is launching the marketing of Akoya, a programme comprising 29 luxury flats. Delivery is scheduled for 2024. The two developments have one thing in common: they provide optimal comfort for buyers, notably with dedicated wellness areas.

Residence Akina and Les Chalets de Flambeau in Val Cenis

At the gates of the Vanoise Park, in an environment where nature has been fiercely preserved, nestles Val Cenis. Family friendly, this Savoyard resort is home to two MGM residences: Akina in the heart of the village and Les Chalets de Flambeau, ski-in/ski-out and a short walk from the shops. Both have a splendid view over the valley.

Chalets Séléna in Les Gets

Between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, the resort of Les Gets (with the "Qualité Tourisme" and "Famille Plus" labels) cultivates the art of living in the mountains. Dynamic and authentic, as of Christmas 2023 it will be the home of the Chalets Séléna, an intimate residence with upscale flats. Its view of the neighbouring mountains, its proximity to the slopes and its architecture in harmony with the Alpine scenery will make it an ideal place for families to stay.
