In Samoens, the mountains are alive all year round revolving around numerous animations helping to make it one the emblematic villages of the Haute-Savoie.
The resort has also undertaken several impressive development projects for the future for example the winter 2017-2018, the enlargement of the ski area offering more variety to skiers. The resort has just inaugurated a new 6 seater chairlift : Le Coulouvrier. This new ski lift will be the longest in Europe with a length of 2 850 metres between Echarny and La Tête de la Saix at 2 105 m altitude. In only 9 minutes, skiers will find themselves at the crossroads of Samoens, Morillon, Flaine and Les Carroz with an infinite choice of slopes to explore. It is also worth noting that this lift will also be accessable to people with reduced mobility.
Alongside this opening, there will be 4 new ski slopes (2 this winter and 2 next winter) which will traverse 42 hectares of the Combe de Coulouvrier to further increase the enjoyment of skiing. .
It is in this picture perfect location in the heart of the village resort that MGM has chosen to construct its next major project: « Résidence Alexane ».
