Telemark, ready, go!

The world's top 100 athletes in the discipline, 13 nationalities, 4 days of competition on the Grand Massif... Once again this year Samoëns, cradle of great sportsmen and women, hosts the "classic" and "classic sprint" events of the Telemark World Cup.

Just a few steps away (from skaters of course!) from the MGM Constructeur properties, on the Grand Massif domain, is the place to be for the 2020 edition of this highly prized stage of the Telemark World Cup! The opportunity to see local champions Argeline Tan-Bouquet (2019 World Vice-champion in sprint, the first French woman to win a Crystal Globe in classic Telemark in 2018) and Noé Claye (double world champion in free heel in classic sprint), sliding on their training ground, under the tricolor colors!

On the program of the 3 days of competition (preceded by the jumping and looms trials on Tuesday, January 28th):

  •  Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th January: the classic event with giant slalom, Nordic course, 2 looms (360° turns), 2 jumps and 2 skating ;
  • Friday 31 January: the classic Sprint event with giant slalom, loom and Nordic course.

Each day will be punctuated by the award ceremony on the evening of the events at 6pm, and the event will close with the Telemark evening on Friday evening. Three days of competition, sliding... and atmosphere guaranteed!
