As every year for the past 4 years, the Châtel mountain heights have hosted the Festival of classical music and jazz : the Châtel Classical music Festival. This edition, sponsored by Patrick Poivre d'Arvor (French Journalist), will take place from 17th to 20th February. Under the artistic direction of Elena Rozanova, Ukrainian pianist, this meeting place for music lovers invites world-renowned artists.

This year, the exceptional presence of François-René Duchâble, iconoclastic pianist and virtuoso, as guest of honour. After 30 years of touring and seducing an international audience, he will be stopping at the Portes du Soleil for an unforgettable musical experience. Faithful to his reputation and determined to make classical music accessible to all, the pianist seizes the surrounding nature and visual elements to take the audience with him.

Châtel Classic will also be the occasion to discover the mischievous universe of the "Trumpets of Lyon" who reappropriate the great classics in their own way, but also François Salque, the mezzo-soprano Sandrine Sutter or Anastasia Dewynter. In a harmonious setting, once again the Châtel Classic Festival makes the mountains vibrate by giving pride of the place... to the great classics.
