Aix-les-Bains Riviera des Alpes: between lake and mountains...
Only thirty minutes from Annecy and one hour from Geneva, Aix-les-Bains is at the heart of an exceptional environment. Bordered by the largest natural lake of glacial origin in France, the Lac du Bourget, and surrounded by the Bauges massif, the Dent du Chat and the Mont Revard, the town is a true place to relax.
Its proximity to the shores of the lake (beaches, water sports centres, marinas) and the mountains offers to residents and holiday-makers a variety of leisure activities in all seasons: hiking, mountain biking, climbing, sailing, paddling, canoeing, diving, water skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, etc. In addition to these sporting activities, there is also a wide range of cultural and recreational activities: theatre, racecourse, casino, thermal baths, etc. Aix-les-Bains Riviera des Alpes is especially the host of major events such as Musilac (5 days of concerts on the shores of the Lac du Bourget) and the Festival de l’Opérette (Operetta Festival).
Wellness destination par excellence
Aix-les-Bains has been labelled a Health City by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and is renowned for the Lac du Bourget and more particularly for its historical heritage dating back to Roman times: the thermal baths. It still welcomes more than 30,000 people per year who come especially for its medical spa treatments.
The inhabitants of the Alpine Riviera enjoy a magnificent setting and a unique quality of life. The dynamic town centre, with its restaurants, shops and local services, is bathed in a sense of fulfilment. The charm of its Belle Epoque monuments, its mild microclimate, the beauty of its gardens, parks and squares carefully planted with flowers make it a privileged address.
New MGM residence: Le Clos Marlioz
Seduced by the art of living in Aix, MGM Constructeur is setting up its first development in Aix-les-Bains: Le Clos Marlioz. Located just a stone's throw from the town centre and only a few minutes from the Théâtre de Verdure, it will have a prime location. Divided into four small buildings, this intimate residence with its contemporary, clean and well-designed architecture will include 43 high-end apartments, from 1- to 4-room duplexes (42 to 120 m²).
