The event for food lovers at altitude!

Destination " culinary delights " for this international festival of gastronomy, Les Neiges Étoilées.
From 5th to 7th February, Châtel will welcome professionals and amateurs of culinary arts. The theme chosen for this eighth edition? Fish from the lake! As for its sponsor, it is Yohann Conte, two stars in the Michelin Guide and "outstanding" chef for Gault et Millau.

Four other prestigious chefs will be present. With a Michelin star for his creations at the restaurant Les Trois Couronnes, located in Vevey, Switzerland, Lionel Rodriguez makes no secret of his affection for lake fish, which he reveals both "on land and at sea" using regional products. Eric Prowalski will also be present at the event.

In charge of the Trésoms d'Annecy, he was notably awarded the "Prix de la mer" by Marc Esquerré. The chef of Jiva Hill, located in Saint-Genis-Pouilly, an unconditional fan of the arctic char that he works with in fillets, Jean-François Vasseur will also be among the present chefs. Finally, Patrice Vander, from the Royal, a French palace hotel, will no doubt make a nod "to the legendary dishes" of this famous place.

In addition to this celebration of the lake's fish, the festival will offer cooking classes and demonstrations, a frosty breakfast, a gastronomic challenge from cooking and table arts schools, as well as the traditional and unmissable local producers' market and the evening of the stars. Enjoy your meal!
