Rythm at altitude

Eight days to move to the rythm in the heart of the mountains! Created 10 years ago by André Manoukian, the Cosmojazz Festival offers a series of concerts with the most beautiful Chamonix panoramas.
From the Emosson dam, at an altitude of 2000 metres on Planpraz's balcony in the Brévent or to the Montenvers ice sea, in breathtaking scenery, the musicians follow one another and resonate the mountains to the delight of hiking music lovers. This edition started Saturday, including the trio founded in 2015 Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio: an organ, a guitar and drums for soul jazz, Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll. Londoners Kokoroko, a group very popular on the jazz-Afrobeat international scene, will perform this Friday, July 16 at 18:30. Earlier in the afternoon, it is Joachim Horsley who will heliport his piano to the site of Charamillon at 1850 m altitude for a musical proposal (d) amazing, the meeting between classical music and Latin. Finally the spectators will have the pleasure of discovering the haunting voice of Nesrine Belmokh with her trio, cello, voice and percussion "Nes". A highlight of this festival since the concert will take place on the iconic Argentière Glacier View Bridge, accessible by gondola from Plan Joran. Cosmojazz, a delight for the eyes and ears!
