When Architecture meets the slopes...

Situated between Geneva and Chamonix, Flaine is one of the most popular ski destinations in the Alps. Set in a huge natural cirque, in the heart of an exceptional environment, it is nevertheless famous for its raw concrete. Labelled "20th century heritage" and classified as a "historical monument", Flaine is a real open-air museum. Considered the most artistic resort in France, it continually exhibits monumental and architectural works by Picasso, Dubuffet and Vasarely.

Now get on the track! Flaine is only 1 hour from Geneva airport, a 2-hour drive from Lyon and 4 hours from Paris by TGV. The Haute-Savoie resort gives you direct access to one of the largest ski areas in France, the Grand Massif (1,600 m - 2,500 m). Renowned for its exceptional sunshine, it has 140 km of pistes for all skiing levels. It is also possible to ski all around the area using only blue runs! Skiers, whether beginners or experts, can enjoy the wide open spaces throughout the season. Nicknamed the "Grenier à neige"-"Snow Loft", it remains the training ground for the French ski teams until mid-April.

There are numerous activities outside of alpine skiing: snowkiting, moonbike, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, yoga, white water sports, paragliding, hot air ballooning, 18-hole golf, caving, archery, trail running, mountain biking, hiking, Nordic walking... This wide range of leisure activities will satisfy families looking for a sporting, relaxing and friendly holiday.

Résidence Alhéna, a new architectural masterpiece in Flaine Forum

Inspired by this unique architectural destination, MGM Constructeur chose to build its new project, Résidence Alhéna, in the heart of the pedestrian resort, between Flaine Forum and Flaine Front de Neige. This high-end development has been designed in the image of Flaine: modern, elegant and welcoming. Its architecture gives pride of place to concrete, as Guillaume Relier, the project's architect, explains: "The use of concrete, both plastic and geometric in Flaine, is very attractive. The confrontation between this raw material and the rock or the snowy peaks generates striking visual contrasts. I therefore returned to the essence of the resort with Alhéna. I absolutely wanted to rework the concrete while giving it a contemporary character, i.e. metal cladding elements that will play on the reflections with the landscape”.

The residence will offer 39 luxury, contemporary flats. Located at the bottom of the slopes, it will provide optimal sunshine for future buyers thanks to its southern aspect and will offer an exceptional view of the surrounding mountains. The development will feature a restaurant, a nursery and a wellness area (swimming pool, hammam, sauna, hot tubs, cardio-fitness room, Montagnes du Monde® spa) to provide maximum comfort to residents and their guests. Delivery is scheduled for Christmas 2023.
