The summit of trail events

Extraordinary, extreme, mythical, exciting, excessive, superhuman ... the Ultra Trail of Mont-Blanc is the event of the elite runners around the world sharing the same dream: go around Mont Blanc.

7 events, 3 countries crossed (France, Italy, Switzerland), crossings over 2500 m altitude in extreme weather conditions, 10 000 m of elevation +, more than 10 000 runners, 12 000 volunteers, 20 000 supporters ... the Mont-Blanc Ultra Trail (UTMB®) is aptly named. And for this 17th edition, a journey has been added to this great adventure: on the Traces of the Dukes of Savoy (TDS®).
This new challenge of 145 km with 9,100 m of elevation gain is one of the most important challenges of the race. Very technical, with passages from mythical places of mountaineering (La Pierra Monta, the Grand Mont), this crossing of Beaufortain with views over the lakes of the valley, is also an opportunity to remember the territorial attachment of this race unusual.
Of course, the flagship race of the adventure is still on the program. From the same name as the event, the UTMB course crosses the most beautiful scenery of the Alps on 171 km, which the traileurs must follow on 10 000 m of elevation gain and in 46h30 maximum. The challenge of a life.
