New ski slopes in La Rosiere

Since the 1st December, the Italian side of La Rosiere Espace San Bernando, with a great snow record, and an exceptional sun record, is open. But that is not all ! From the 15th December the new sector of the Mont Valaisan will be open. In addition to the already gentle and sunny slopes of La Rosiere, there will be 5 new red slopes, accessed via 2 six seater chairlifts (Moulins & Mont Valaisan), offering a more challenging ski area and lots of freeride.

Henceforth, the ski area – of which the highest point is on the French side at 2 800 m altitude with a breathtaking view – has 8 green slopes, 27 blue, 38 red and 18 black, with 152 km of ski slopes ! This makes La Rosiere the 13th largest ski area in France and 34th in the world.

With this abundance of Alpine activity, with its cross-country area, its off piste, its 8 snowzones, its new residential offering, its FAMILLE PLUS label….La Rosiere, jewel of the Haute Tarentaise, has a stunning environment mixed with a Franco-Italian culture and gastronomy, as well as an expansive ski area for all levels.

Opening Mont Valaisan

An extension to the ski area, a big occasion ! Saturday, 15th December 2018, La Rosiere Espace San Bernardo will mark the opening of Mont Valaisan.
