A dedicated time for children in an idyllic setting

1 Festival, 2 Valleys, 9 resorts… For a week, 12 companies coming from Switzerland, Italy and from all over France, present their creations dedicated to children : theater, finger circus, puppets, danced conference or graphic poetry are all fun, spectacular and poetic moments in perspective. And for its 18th edition, the event adds 3 new resorts on its path (Praz-sur-Arly, Combloux et les Contamines-Montjoie), Les Houches remains the favorite destination for the festival.
The peculiarity of this festival? It is dedicated to toddlers, even before 2 years old. As such, Saturday, 19th October, 11 am and 4 pm, the company Chapi Chapo and the small music of rain offers two musical naps from 0 to 2 years at the animation centre in Les Houches. And for older children, meet at 4 pm for a half-hour poetic concert of "Monsieur Lune" in the OLCA room (from 6 years old).

Zoom on les Houches

Located at the foot of Mont Blanc and just 6 km from Chamonix, The resort of Les Houches is full of wonders. Combining modernity and tradition between 990 and 1 900m of altitude, this natural reserve of emotions, has a ski area with varied ski tracks drawn in the forest. Here, all the ingredients come together for a sporty, contemplative and a successful winter family holiday. If its outstanding location, its hamlets and its exceptional panorama are sources of escape, its various activities guarantees a fantastic skiing break for the whole family at all level : beginner's area for the Neophytes, snow parks for freestylers, red and black runs for the keen skiers, including the famous World Cup downhill track « The green of Les Houches ».
As a bonus: all of Les Houches ski passes include access to the Mont-Blanc tramway. This cogwheel train - one of the last and highest in France - takes you to the Bellevue Plateau (1800 m) in the winter, the time for a retro charm journey, in an exceptional landscape.
