MGM programmes located in renowned mountain massifs

The authentic Aravis Massif

Located between Savoie and Haute-Savoie, just a stone's throw from the shimmering beauty of Lake Annecy and on the slopes of lush green valleys where villages with a distinct heritage and pastoral identity nestle, the Massif des Aravis is one of those precious jewels of authenticity.

With Mont-Blanc on the horizon, the Aravis Massif is a vibrant but unspoilt landscape where the resorts combine four-season activities with a lifestyle steeped in tradition. In Grand Bornand, the village resort with a warm, family atmosphere features Le Roc des Tours at the top of the resort, in Chinaillon, inspired by the surrounding chalets and boasting a south-facing position, a magnificent view of the Aravis and Bornes massifs plus direct access to the ski slopes.

For an even deeper immersion in nature, Hameau de l'Ours is located on the Col de la Croix-Fry on the heights of the village of Manigod, with direct access to the La Clusaz-Manigod downhill ski slopes on one side and the Plateau de Beauregard Nordic ski area on the other. Hiking trails and toboggan runs within easy reach, the place exudes the simplicity of a cosy mountain retreat.

The legendary Mont-Blanc Massif

Among the wonders of the Alps, the iconic Mont-Blanc massif straddles three countries: France, Italy and Switzerland. Famous summits, towering glaciers and breathtaking panoramas, all the names here resonate like true myths. The Aiguille du Midi, the Mer de Glace, the Grandes Jorasses, the Montenvers train, Chamonix, Megève...

This postcard setting is where the village of Les Contamines-Montjoie belongs, with high mountain as its language and fabulous landscapes as its identity. Chalets Láska, four buildings proudly showcasing their traditional chalet-inspired architecture, combine a peaceful setting away from the hectic pace of the resorts with a lively village centre.

The unique Massif du Giffre

Deep valleys, majestic peaks and traditional villages are the hallmarks of this magical place, home to one of the largest ski areas in the French Alps: The Grand Massif, comprising the resorts of Les Carroz, Samoëns, Morillon, Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Flaine. Flaine, the most distinctive of the resorts, is characterised by its resolutely contemporary identity, its avant-garde architecture and its artistic bent.

The Résidence Alhéna embodies Flaine's essential design codes, with a style inspired by Marcel Breuer, the architect who created the resort's unique image, and a bold décor that echoes the artworks of famous artists such as Picasso, Vasarely, Dubuffet and Bury. Right in the heart of Flaine Forum, with ski-in/ski-out access, these stunning holiday homes overlook the Grandes Platières summit and offer privileged access to the slopes and the dynamic pedestrian centre of the resort.

The charming
Tarentaise-Vanoise valley

Moving on to Savoie, close to the Italian border and the Val d'Aosta, you'll find the 1,705km2 Tarentaise-Vanoise valley, home to some of the world's most prestigious ski resorts: Val d'Isère, La Rosière, Courchevel, Tignes, Méribel and La Plagne. Famous resorts with a worldwide reputation - guaranteed snow and exceptional energy - but also a fierce identity where the cultural heritage and the villages all have a story to tell.

The Résidence Manaka, located right in the heart of Plagne Centre, opens directly onto the immense Paradiski ski area, offering 425 km of pistes and peaks rising to an altitude of over 3,200 metres, guaranteeing fabulous snow cover, and a magnificent view of the Mont-Blanc Massif.

Flexibility and discovery at its best

To meet the expectations of tourist residence owners as closely as possible, MGM has adapted its options to suit the desires and changing habits of each person. This means that the selected formula for a commercial lease can be changed every 3 years, allowing you to regularly alter the number of weeks you occupy your property.

Likewise, the winning exchanges allow you to swap weeks in high season for extra weeks in mid and low season. The discovery exchange scheme offers the chance to discover other resorts in the Alps and stay in an MGM residence of your choice, according to availability.

Finally, owners of tourist residences can take advantage, in addition to their dedicated weeks of occupation, a number of extra weeks during so-called ‘white’ periods. When residences are closed, related services are not available, but you can still enjoy your property and soak up the rejuvenating tranquillity of resorts out of season and out of the hustle and bustle. This is a chance not to be refused.
