In Tignes, we ski... after everyone else!

After the annual closure of the ski area, the 8th May, the internationally acclaimed resort of Tignes takes a breather, in order to reopen the glacier between the 25 June & 7th August 2016. An eagerly awaited opening by passionate skiers and holidaymakers excaping the stifling summer heat!

The less sporty one scan take the funiculaire and enjoy the breathtaking views from the Panoramic terrace and take advantage of some relaxation in unique surroundings, opposit the glacier, the more adventurous will access the ski slopes via the Grande Motte cable car. Summer skiing in Tignes, a snowpark and 20km of slopes with fresh snow prepared by piste bashers, which is worth benefitting from as soon as it opens in the morning, leaving the afternoon free to experience the more summer orientated activities ; all in an incredible environment mixing mountain freshness with a maximum sunshine.

Thanks to the free Sportignes pass offered to all those staying in a residence in Tignes, there are more than 26 sporting activites on offer for free. Choose between activites such as paragliding, Water ball, and climbing the glacier!

Get on your bikes ! Between the 25th June & 31st August, the Bike Park Tignes-Val d’Isere d’Isere is again proposing free access to its bike park. New runs with different levels of difficulty are on offer and to be discovered ; profit from free lifts as well.
