A prestigious resort with an international reputation
Nestled in the heart of the Vanoise massif, close to the Italian border, Tignes is famous all around the world for its dynamism, both in summer and winter. The Savoyard resort is always on the lookout for the latest trends and offers residents and holidaymakers a wide range of unique activities, whether they be sporting, contemplative or thrilling. This very popular destination has many attractions to welcome the various generations who choose to come together, during a break in the mountains, to share some fun moments with their families.
At the doors of the Vanoise National Park, a real gem of Savoie, Tignes enjoys an exceptional setting. Its glaciers, lakes and legendary peaks (the Grande Motte, the Grande Casse and the Grande Sassière) combine to create a spectacular site. Its Alpine landscapes delight all visitors in search of wide open spaces. The resort has managed to preserve its natural heritage, which sometimes surprises walkers and hikers who, during a trip, may spot a chamois, an ibex or a golden eagle!
A broad range of activities and leisure facilities
The Tignes ski area, linked to Val d'Isère, spreads over 300 km of slopes. In winter, the mountain offers a vast playground for winter sports lovers. Downhill skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice diving, mountain biking on snow, tobogganing, ice karting, crossing a frozen lake... Some winter activities extend into the summer! The snowpark is installed on the Grande Motte glacier and it is possible to ski there until... August! Tignes is keen to remain just as attractive in summer.
This is why the resort offers a large variety of summer leisure possibilities: paragliding, microlighting, climbing, hiking, trail running, golf, tennis, archery, water jumping, kayaking, trout fishing...
Tignes 1800, the home of MGM Residences
After building several chalets along with the Résidence Kalinda, MGM Constructeur has continued its upmarket development in Tignes 1800. This village offers peace and tranquillity to the residents of this international resort. It has direct access to the ski area via the Boisses cable car. MGM has chosen this privileged location to set up Le Lodge des Neiges. This ski-in ski-out tourist residence represents the perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Its architecture, which combines noble materials such as wood, stone and lauze, allows it to be elegantly integrated into the very centre of the resort. Its flats, from 1 to 4 bedrooms, have been decorated with care and refinement. Residents benefit from a wellness area, directly built into the development: swimming pool, saunas, hammam, hot tubs...
